The fact that it is a locally owned and operated family business in the small town of Alvarado was a plus for our students to learn and participate in the value of community importance in running a business. The students and adults enjoyed the hay ride, decorating the Christmas trees, and refreshments while learning about the bee keeping, farm animals, growing trees, and how and why all these things work together. Four years ago, we got our first tree at your farm and it began a very special family tradition for us. Our tradition is such a special part of our Christmas season that last year we brought our grandparents, an aunt, uncle and cousins with us to share the special experience of getting our tree. We love the hayride, popcorn, and country store. Our youngest one especially likes the animals! Our wreath we got lasted so long; I took the Christmas decorations off and left it hanging on the door for weeks. You truly create an atmosphere that creates wonderful family memories.
